Nucleus

The Nucleus is an organelle. It serves as a cell's command center. It stores DNA and governs cell growth, replication, and transport of molecules.

Structure
The nucleus has a double-membrane structure, housing and protecting DNA. It contains a nucleolus, where rRNA is synthesized.

Synergy
The Golgi Apparatus transports proteins for the nucleus.
Ribosomes synthesize proteins in the nucleolus.
