Golgi Complex

The Golgi Complex processes, modifies, and packages cellular products before sending them to their destinations. It controls the intracell movement of products including proteins and lipids.

Structure
The Golgi Complex contains flattened membranous sacs called cisternae. None of the cisternae are connected. There are two sides to each cisternae, the cis and trans faces.
The cis face recieve vesicles from the ER.
The trans face sends vesicles back out into cytosol for secretion.

Synergy
Recieves vesicles from the ER.
Packages materials that are transferred to the Cell Membrane.
